Welcome…To the new Green Chair Stories.

Welcome! I’ve never been happier to invite you in. I’m so unbelievably proud of this space. Please take your time enjoying the little and big changes. I think you’ll find it all easier to navigate and just prettier all around. I know I’ve been quiet lately, but I was working on this!

In the entire two years I’ve been running Green Chair Stories, I think this is the longest I’ve gone without blogging. I missed it.

But this break was so healthy for me. I’ve stepped back the last month and really examined my business as a whole. What do I really love doing? What should I do more of? Less of? None of? What do people like to read? See?

For the entire year, I’ve been revamping this whole site with the wonderfully talented Mattie from Green Tie Studio. I knew she was perfect just from the name of her company. She brought so many ideas of mine to life and added her own beautiful touch to every page along the way. I’m so thrilled with the outcome of all of this; I hope you love it too.

Throughout this branding process, I’ve been able to see the big picture much clearer. I have a new sense of certainty in the direction I’m headed. I thought Mattie was just going to clean up my physical space on the internet, but she really cleaned up a lot of mental space for me too. I knew documentary family photography was what I wanted to do before all this, but now I know how.

I have all new packages and and brand new look. If you’re digging all this, shoot me an email. If you’re picking up what I’m putting down and you want to book a session, shoot me an email. If you hate it, shoot me an email.

I want to hear from you all. When I first launched Green Chair Stories, I said, “People often say launching is like releasing your baby into the world to be judged. But it’s so much worse. You can’t pick what your baby looks like. I picked exactly what this looks like.”

This feels the same way. Do not give me radio silence. Tell me you like the way my baby looks. Let me know your thoughts, questions, loves, and concerns. Thanks so much for coming. You have no idea how much I appreciate it.
